This is a unique opportunity for someone to help take our marketplace offering at start.squirro.com to the next level.. As part of this role, you will be helping to improve, maintain & add new functionalities to our marketplace offering. Sounds exciting?

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and maintain Squirro's Marketplace offering.
• Adhere to Software Engineering best practices, including automated testing, QA processes, and maintaining a robust Continuous Integration system.
• Maintain and develop production-ready Python code.
• Partner with the Product team to help define and shape the roadmap for Squirro's Marketplace.

Your skills & experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Web application development.
• Exceptional programming experience in Python or a similar language with the motivation to move to Python.
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux from a developers perspective.
• Strong track record in software systems design, from initial implementation to performance optimization and scaling.
• Experience developing professionally as part of a team, giving and receiving code reviews, test-driven development, etc.
• Good communication skills with fluency in English.

Nice-to-have:

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and microservices architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, nginx, docker.
• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible and other DevOps related tools.
