We are seeking a highly motivated Semantic Graph Sales Specialist to drive sales and adoption of our innovative solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Taxonomy and Ontology Management Systems (TOMS), semantic classification, and GraphRAG solutions.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to create sales enablement materials, product demonstrations, and go-to-market plans.
  • Market Research & Lead Generation:
    • Identify potential market segments and customers through research, networking, and attending relevant industry events and conferences.
    • Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and competitors in the semantic knowledge graph and generative AI spaces to drive thought leadership and maintain competitive edge.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Lead conversations with clients to understand their specific challenges and demonstrate how Squirro TOMS, semantic classification, and GraphRAG can enhance their semantic search, knowledge management, and business process automation.
    • Provide technical expertise and serve as a product evangelist, clearly articulating the value of semantic graphs in transforming client processes and workflows.
    • Conduct personalized presentations, demos, and technical deep-dives to position Squirro solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiating terms, preparing contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Develop pricing models, proposals, and technical documentation in collaboration with the technical and product teams.
    • Stay engaged with clients post-sale to ensure successful deployment and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
  • Pre-Sales Support:
    • Understand and analyze customer needs, offering tailored solutions that leverage the strengths of Squirro solutions.
    • Coordinate with technical teams to design proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs to demonstrate Squirro capabilities in real-world settings.
    • Deliver product and technical training to both customers and internal teams to ensure clear understanding and effective use of Squirro solutions.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams:
    • Provide feedback to product teams based on customer needs and market insights to drive the continuous improvement of Squirro features and offerings.
    • Act as a liaison between sales, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment in delivering customer value.


Your skills & experience:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices (ANSI-NISO Z39.19, ISO 25964, etc.).
    • In-depth knowledge of semantic web standards (RDF, SKOS, OWL, SPARQL, etc.).
    • Familiarity with human and-or machine classification.
    • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
    • Familiarity with graph databases, specifically including RDF graph databases.
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably within the AI, data, or technology sectors.
    • Experience driving sales for technical products, including managing complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure deals that align with both customer needs and company goals.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset:
    • Experience working with enterprise clients, particularly in industries like finance, healthcare, or telecommunications, where knowledge graphs and AI are becoming essential tools.
    • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with a focus on delivering solutions that address specific customer pain points.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and drive successful customer outcomes.
