You will primarily work on Squirro’s internal deployment which serves all of our employees to very quickly find the right information and automate tasks using our agent framework.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Extend our internal deployment of the Squirro platform (Acorn).
• Tune LLM relevancy and search quality by observing user interactions.
• Ensure the smooth running and operation of Acorn.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and support AI-driven solutions.
• Customize and extend Squirro’s platform with backend components in Python and JavaScript.
• Deploy and optimize solutions on hybrid Linux infrastructures using tools like Ansible.
• Create and maintain project documentation and support knowledge-sharing practices.

Here’s what gets us excited about you:

• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, software engineering, and/or DevOps engineering roles.
• Significant experience writing code in Python and/or JavaScript (React).
• Hands-on experience in testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services.
• Skilled in Redis and/or Postgres/MySQL/MariaDB database management.
• Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• End-to-end project delivery experience, including setup, deployment, data enrichment, analysis, visualization, and integration of IT solutions.
• Proven experience implementing full project lifecycles using Agile methodologies.

Bonus points if you have:

• Expertise in Elasticsearch production deployments, including relevancy tuning, efficient data modeling, and optimizing search and indexing performance.
• Experience working with unstructured data in previous projects or roles.
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Strong ability to communicate and teach technical concepts to external technical users, such as customers and partners.
• Experience creating and maintaining project documentation for internal and external use.
• Expertise in managing and communicating product documentation to external ecosystems.
