What you’ll be doing:
As a Business Development Representative Intern at Squirro, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to manage inbound and outbound leads, engage with prospects, and build a robust sales pipeline
- Manage daily inbound and outbound leads through various channels, including phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute account-based strategies targeting specific verticals or geographical markets. Support events via building relevant lists.
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team, contributing to the growth of the sales pipeline.
- Educate and nurture early-phase prospects for potential future opportunities.
- Understand and effectively communicate Squirro's value proposition to data and business leaders across various industries.
- Analyze and report on weekly activities, identifying potential optimizations to enhance performance.
- Maintain accurate records of engagements and activities using CRM tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Complete Ad-hoc projects related to pipeline tracking, target company research, etc.
Here’s what gets us excited about you:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS market and the ability to grasp technical concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce is a plus.
